Luang Pu Thuad 2540 Phim Viset


Archan Nong Wat SaiKao

In B.E.2541 a series of Luang Phor Thuad amulets were created at Wat Saikhao, the funds from the sale of which was used to help poor children in Uthaithani province.
The amuets were also created to mark the 60th birthday of General Viset Kong-utaikul, and as such this batch was known as “Viset 60”.

Interestingly the reverse of each amulet was embedded with a grain or two of black rice, as Ajahn Nong believed in both the sacredness and power.


Sacred Ceremony

The amulets were blessed at a number of ceremonies starting as early as BE 2540

1st ceremony

Wat Chang Hai on October 14th, B.E.2540, at 06.29 am, to worship the sacred soul of Luang Phor Thuad.

2nd ceremony

All the sacred components were mixed and pressed into the moulds at Wat Mujarindrapiviharn, Pattani Province. Many sacred monks joined the ceremony:

Luang Phor Juan of Wat Yangdang, Puttani Province

3rd ceremony

Wat Prakaew, Bangkok on November 27th, B.E.2541. Amulets were blessed again along with “Pra Buddha Navamaharacha” and sacred moulds of HM the King

4th ceremony

All amulets were invited back to Wat Chang Hai on March 26th BE 2541 were a sacred ceremony had been organized, attended by 159 monks and chaired by Ajahn Nong who lit the candle at 01.09pm.

On the occasion Luang Poo Tim of Wat Prakhao, Ayudhaya Province extinguished the sacred candle at 05.09pm.

5th ceremony

Wat Mujarindrapiviharn, Pattani Province, where Luang Poo Sook, the then abbot, transferred additional sacred power into the amulets

On February 6th, B.E.2542, 5,000 amulets (Pim Yai) were given to HM the Queen at the Royal palace in Chiang Mai
Moreover around 500 amulets were given to Malaysia’s Wat Utamaram

Amulets
1. Pim Bucha, five-inch lap, 399 amulets were created.

2. Pim Bucha, 1.5-inch lap amulets, 334 amulets were created.

3. Pim Karmakarn, made of sacred powder and embedded with black rice grain, 7,500 amulets were created.

4. Pim Yai, made of sacred powder, with and without black rice grains embedded, 25,000 amulets were created.

5. Pim Lek (or Pim Jew), made of sacred powder, with and without black rice grains embedded, 5,000 amulets were created.
